Job summary

JP Mascaro & Sons is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Great Valley Recycling division in Bridgeport, PA. You will safely operate wheel loaders and drum feeders, enforce safety on the tipping floor, and assist with drop-off procedures while keeping grounds tidy.

Requires 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work every other Saturday in all weather conditions. Join a family-owned company with a long-standing commitment to service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather and indoors.
• Ability to work every other Saturday and overtime.
• Must read, write and speak English fluently.
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Wheel Loader and Drum Feeder.
• Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor.
• Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customers as needed.
• Maintain landscaping onsite (mowing, weed-whacking, mulching).
• Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor.
• Keep onsite roads and surrounding area litter-free.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our Great Valley Recycling division, located in Bridgeport, PA is currently searching for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team!

What You Will Do:

• Safely operate the facilities Wheel Loader and Drum Feeder
• Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor
• Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customers as needed
• Maintain landscaping onsite including, but not limited to, mowing, weed-whacking, mulching
• Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor
• Keep the onsite roads/surrounding area litter free
• Other duties as assigned

QualificationsYou Have/You Are:

• At least 18 years of age
• A valid Driver's License
• At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
• A comfort level working in all-weather outdoors and ability to work indoors
• The ability to work every other Saturday (required) and overtime
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
