Job summary

White Pines Landfill in Millville, PA seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate the facility’s heavy equipment and enforce safety on the tipping floor. The role includes assisting with Direct Drop Offs, maintaining landscaping, and supporting onsite operations as needed.

Applicants should be at least 18, hold a valid driver's license, have 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, and be able to work outdoors in all weather and on every other Saturday with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Able to work every other Saturday and overtime as required.
• Must be organized and motivated to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the facility’s heavy equipment.
• Enforce safety procedures on the tipping floor.
• Assist with Direct Drop Off procedures and customers as needed.
• Maintain landscaping onsite (mowing, weed-whacking, mulching).
• Assist with onsite operations as needed when instructed by supervisor.
• Keep onsite roads and surrounding areas litter-free.
• Other duties as assigned.
