Job summary

Harsco Environmental in Kingman, AZ is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to manage day-to-day operations at our steel/metals recovery plant, running loaders, excavators, skid steers, heavy trucks and cranes. You will perform routine pre- and post-start inspections, document activity, and strictly follow plant safety guidelines while working outdoors in varying weather.

Job Description

This position is responsible for day to day Heavy Equipment Operation activities at a steelmetal recovery plant. Running equipment such as loaders, excavators, skidsteer, heavy duty trucks, cranes. Duties include but not limited to:

• A. Performs routine mobile equipment pre start and post inspections and records activity on inspection sheets.
• B. Follows all plant safety guidelines for the safe operations of heavy mobile equipment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

1. 1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 2. 1 - 3 year’s experience as a equipment operator.
3. 3. Ability to do manual labor in an outdoor environment that may include elevated areas and extreme weather conditions.
4. 4. Good communications skills, and the ability to read operating instructions.
5. 5. Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment.
