Martin Marietta in Huntsville, MO is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely move material within the quarry. You will operate machines, follow safety practices, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

This role offers daytime hours from Monday to Friday, with pay ranging from $23 to $26 per hour. Prior experience and a valid US driver’s license are preferred to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and trainings.
• Promote Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Work in a team environment.
• Clean work areas.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Wear personal protective equipment.
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed.
• Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements.
• Assist in plant maintenance and repairs.
• Perform duties with minimum supervision.

Pay: $23-$26 an hour

Hours: 6am-6pm Monday - Friday

Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator at Huntsville Quarry in Huntsville, MO. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and trainings
• promoting Martin Marietta’s Guardian Angel culture
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
• Work in a team environment
• Clean work areas

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Skills

• Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance

Physical Abilities

• Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
• General physical activities include climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling material
