Job summary

Jack B. Parson Companies, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to repair and maintain construction equipment across multiple Utah locations. The role requires handling trucks, trailers, dozers, excavators, graders, and related systems.

You will perform diagnostics, parts replacement, and preventive maintenance. Must have own tools, flexibility for swing shifts, weekends, and holidays, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years of experience as a skilled automotive mechanic on heavy equipment.
• Experience with heavy duty construction equipment such as Komatsu and CAT dozers, excavators, motor graders, water trucks, and other small engine equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems and makes economical repairs.
• Dismantles devices to access and replace defective parts.
• Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment across the company.
• Performs preventative maintenance including oil changes, greasing, fluid checks, and filter changes; troubleshoots electrical/hydraulic systems.
