Job summary

Jack B. Parson Companies, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic for swing shift. Must have own tools, be available on weekends/holidays, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction equipment across our fleet. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 5 years of experience with heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, and motor graders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of experience as a skilled automotive mechanic with heavy equipment.
• Experience with Komatsu and CAT dozers, excavators, and motor graders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots problems, making economical and durable repairs.
• Dismantles devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment company-wide.
• Services vehicles/equipment including oil changes, greasing, adding fluids, changing filters, and preventative maintenance.
