Job summary

Pike Industries, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Mechanic Intern to gain hands-on experience in a shop setting, repairing and maintaining heavy equipment and supporting work orders. You will learn troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and inventory reporting while working with a team of experienced mechanics.

Enroll in a technical college program and be prepared for extended hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Technical College degree program.
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and possible overtime.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repair and maintenance of heavy equipment (loaders, graders, pavers, dump trucks, trailers).
• Support work order process from creation to completion.
• Learn troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Assist inventory management and track vehicle condition reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations for the fleet.
