Pike Industries, a CRH company, is seeking an Mechanic Intern to join our shop in a hands-on role focused on maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment. You’ll gain experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and work-order processes while learning inventory controls and safety compliance.

You must be enrolled in a technical college and prepared for extended hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Technical College degree program.
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and possible overtime.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Assist with the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment, including loaders, graders, pavers, dump trucks, and trailers.
• Help with the work order process, from creation to completion.
• Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Support inventory management and track vehicle condition reports.
• Become familiar with safety regulations and compliance requirements for the fleet.
