Felix Construction is looking for a Mechanic II to join our Equipment team. This is a hands‑on position for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic who enjoys the work itself—replacing major components, performing repairs, and keeping our fleet running safely and reliably.
This is not a lead mechanic or shop foreman position. We're looking for someone who takes direction well, works independently once assigned a task, and takes pride in getting the job done right.
You’ll perform repairs and component replacements on heavy construction equipment used throughout Arizona’s water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

This position requires working on construction job sites in extreme temperatures. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and may occasionally use hand tools associated with the construction industry. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust and focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods, climb on and off equipment, walk, kneel, bend, reach with hands and arms, hear, and talk.
