Job summary

Felix Construction seeks Journeyman Electricians for water and wastewater projects in the Phoenix area. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial facilities, reading blueprints and controlling equipment in new builds or upgrades.

A formal apprenticeship is preferred and 4+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience is required. We offer a safety‑mocused team, steady hours, and family‑owned culture with ESOP and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to install and repair electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of NEC codes and electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings including PLCs, MCCs, transformers, and switchgear.
• Install electrical systems per industry standards and regulations.
• Read blueprints and diagrams and interpret relay control logic and I/O signals.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams, and other technical diagrams.

Felix Construction is seeking Journeyman Electricians to work in the water/wastewater construction industry. The job involves installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment within industrial settings. Requires industrial electrical experience. All candidates must have a great attitude. Work is new build or upgrades to existing facilities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment commonly found in industrial environments including field instrumentation such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, level indicators and local control panels (LCP), programmable logic controllers (PLC), motor control centers (MCC), transformers, and switchgear.
• Install electrical systems according to industry standards and regulations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in relay control logic, adept handling of 4-20mA signals, and a strong grasp of I/O signals.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder diagrams and other technical diagrams

Who You Are

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship preferred
• At least 4 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
• Able to terminate and set switchgear, panels & other distribution equipment
• Skilled and proficient at running conduit ½” – 4”
• Must be proficient at bending conduit ½” – 2”
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have good trade & NEC knowledge
• Good driving record required
• Must a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This position requires working on construction sites in extreme temperatures. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and use hand tools associated with the construction industry. Specific vision abilities required include the ability to adjust and focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods, walk, sit, kneel, bend, reach with hands and arms, hear, and talk.
