Job summary

RENTALIFT is seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to maintain and repair forklifts, scissor lifts, and warehouse equipment. You may travel as a road mechanic in a company van, write up job tickets, and order parts from the office computer.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, wiring and electrical work, and ensuring safe operation of the rental fleet with precise record-keeping. Flexible work-from-home options are available where feasible.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in forklift repair and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of wiring and electrical components of machines.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems including propane, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Familiarity with OEM parts and specifications is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, skilled Forklift Mechanic to to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair of forklifts, scissor lifts and warehouse type equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose issues and perform repairs on forklifts. As a Forklift Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our rental fleet and shop service on customer equipment. You may also be a road mechanic driving a company van and maintaining tools. Write up job tickets, order parts and fix minor repairs at customer job site.
