Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH company, is seeking a fleet maintenance technician to inspect diesel vehicles, lubricate moving parts, and perform routine oil changes and filter replacements.

You will also check fluid levels, belts, hoses, and use maintenance software to document repairs and schedule preventive maintenance. DOT inspections and safety are integral. This role may operate in shop, yard, or on job sites, requiring physical ability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles with diesel engines and ensure moving parts are lubricated.
• Check fluid levels, change oil, replace oil and air filters.
• Visually inspect belts and hoses for wear; identify needed repairs.
• Use maintenance software to create work orders and schedule PMs.
• Dismantle/reassemble equipment using hand tools as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• May work in shop, yard, or on job sites.
• Perform DOT inspections and brake adjustments.
• Maintain and implement fluid analysis program.
