Job summary

W-L Construction and Paving, a CRH company, seeks a Lube/Grease/Fuel Field Technician to support equipment operations at construction sites, asphalt plants, quarries, and other locations. You will fuel, lubricate, inspect, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment while upholding safety standards.

Requirements include a valid CDL with tanker endorsement (Hazmat preferred or obtainable), 3+ years in heavy equipment operation or maintenance, knowledge of DOT regulations, and ability

Qualifications

• CDL license required and active.
• Tanker endorsement required or ability to obtain.
• 3+ years of heavy equipment operation or maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Fuel, grease, and service heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Identify and report equipment issues requiring repair.
• Safely operate heavy equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate equipment concerns to supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
