Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Lube Technician to inspect diesel vehicles, ensure proper lubrication, and perform routine maintenance and inspections across shop, yard, and job sites. You will also monitor fluids, replace filters, and assist with diagnostics.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, a high school diploma or GED, and a safety-minded, team-oriented work style. Physical duties may include lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• Ability to work safely and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil & filter change, lubrication, coolant, and fuel).
• Analyze malfunctions and report need for diagnostics or repair.
• Operate and inspect vehicles/equipment to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hand tools.
• Inspect parts for damage or excessive wear.
• Use computer-based maintenance software to create work orders, schedule PMs, and document repairs.
• Perform general cleaning of work areas and maintenance areas.
• Assist other maintenance staff to ensure efficiency of operations.
• May work in shop, yard, or on job sites.
• Ability to perform DOT inspections and brake adjustments.
• Perform and maintain fluid analysis program.
