Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B license required.

• Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance schedules.
• Proficient with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance tools.

Job Summary:
The Lube Technician is responsible for efficiently and effectively fueling, lubricating, and minor maintenance of heavy equipment in the shop and in the field. The role ensures that all equipment operates smoothly and reliably, minimizing downtime and enhancing overall productivity.

Essential Functions:

• Perform preventive maintenance services as per manufacturer recommendations on heavy equipment. To include the changing of oils, fluids, filters and other routing maintenance items.
• Perform minor machine repairs with the use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized tooling
• Effectively communicate job status to management
• Other duties as assigned
• Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications.
• Complete routine maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment.
• Comply with the standards and procedures of the company’s health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Competencies or Experience Requirements

• Class A (recommended) or B - CDL License (Required).
• High school diploma or equivalent. (Required).
• Technical certification in automotive or diesel mechanics is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, fuel and lube operations, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems, fuel types, and lubrication procedures.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance schedules.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
