Job summary

Foley Power Solutions seeks a hands-on diesel mechanic to perform repair and preventive maintenance in a busy shop. You will lift heavy components, operate tools, and work at varying heights as part of daily duties.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge across systems, plus CDL A or ability to obtain one within a few months. Preferred experience with crane rigging and forklifts is noted.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics.
• General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, and instruments.
• Understand crane hoist and rigging equipment (preferred).
• Forklift experience (preferred).
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins, and other related publications.
• Class A CDL required or ability to obtain CDL within three months of start date.
• Valid CDL license required.
• Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry.
