Job summary

Foley Power Solutions is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to perform repairs and preventive maintenance in a shop setting. Responsibilities include lifting heavy components, operating hand tools, and reading technical publications.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge across hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components, plus experience with diesel equipment. CDL is required or obtainable within three months of start date, with lifting and physical demands typical of the job.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics.
• General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, and instruments.
• Crane hoist and rigging equipment knowledge (preferred).
• Forklift experience (preferred).
• Ability to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins, and other related publications.
• Class A CDL required or ability to obtain CDL within three months of start date.
• Valid CDL license required.
• Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry.
