Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at our Knoxville facility. You will maintain and repair a variety of rental and customer equipment, work on a modern fleet, and participate in on-site training and development.

The role involves using our tech platform for work orders, traveling to customer sites when required, and adhering to safety practices with overtime opportunities after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Owns tools applicable to position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and understanding of schematics.
• Extensive knowledge of construction equipment and diesel systems.
• Strong customer service, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems on equipment.
• Use laptops/tablets to manage work orders and service intervals.
• Travel to job sites for repairs as needed.
• Assist in training junior technicians.
