Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at our Memphis, TN facility. You’ll maintain and repair heavy equipment and aerial lifts, use tech to track work orders, and ensure safe, efficient operations. Training and travel to job sites may be required, with strong emphasis on diagnostic ability and customer service.

The role offers weekday schedules, potential overtime, and a collaborative, growth-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Own tools applicable to the position.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with knowledge of schematics/diagrams.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders using field tech tools.
• Diagnose issues and perform maintenance/repairs on heavy equipment and aerial lifts.
• Maintain documentation of work orders and parts usage daily.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance as needed.
• Assist training of lower level technicians when required.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety requirements on tasks.
