Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) for our Memphis, TN facility. You’ll perform maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of rental and customer equipment, using tech to manage work orders and service intervals.

Work Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with overtime after 40 hours; on-call rotation with additional compensation. Training and career advancement are provided in a safety‑driven, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school certificate preferred.
• Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be 21+ to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders using our tech.
• Track machine service intervals and diagnose issues quickly.
• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of equipment.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain work orders documentation daily (paperwork/electronic).
• Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Travel to customer job sites when required for repair/maintenance.
• Year-round OEM training provided.
• Other duties as assigned.
