Carter Machinery, Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician to service Caterpillar equipment at customer sites in the Dulles, Virginia area. The role demands hands-on mechanical work, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Starting at $35.00–$49.94 per hour with up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus, paid $2,500 at hire and $2,500 after 90 days. You will troubleshoot, repair, and document service activities, while maintaining safety and quality standards

Competenze

• Experience with heavy equipment field service and repairs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot and repair assigned machines at customer sites.
• Service, diagnose and repair engines, hydraulics and other components.
• Prepare accurate service reports and parts requisitions.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and document all work.
