Carter Machinery Co. Inc. in Dulles, Virginia seeks a Field Service Technician with hands-on heavy equipment repair experience to diagnose, repair, and maintain CAT and related machines at customer sites.

Starting compensation ranges from $35.00 to $49.94 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for 3+ years of experience (or $2,000 for less). Strong troubleshooting, independence, and CDL readiness are essential.

Qualificações

• Minimum of three years' relevant heavy equipment field experience is required to be eligible for the $5,000 sign-on bonus.
• Experience performing mechanical service and repairs on Caterpillar and related equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a CDL.

Responsabilidades

• Apply troubleshooting techniques and determine proper repair procedures on all assigned work orders.
• Service, diagnose and repair engine/components and systems at customer sites.
• Disassemble, inspect and determine parts needed; reassemble to factory specifications.
• Prepare parts requisitions and service reports; document all work clearly and timely.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and tools.
