Job summary

Opifex-Synergy is seeking a Service Technician to manage in‑shop, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks. You will diagnose errors, perform repairs, and communicate results while keeping equipment at peak performance on branch property.

The role requires troubleshooting heavy equipment, applying safety standards, and producing detailed service reports. Flexibility for travel to job sites and on‑site installations is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Must own basic diagnostic and repair tools.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Military service may be considered in lieu of education/ certification.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses all types of equipment to ensure proper working condition.
• Performs routine equipment clean-up and safety reviews and pre-delivery inspections.
• Inspects, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions and adjusts heavy equipment and completes paperwork.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and use field automation systems.
• Communicate with coworkers to ensure top quality equipment and exceed customer expectations.
