Job summary

Opifex‑Synergy seeks a Field Technician to manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of our heavy equipment. You will diagnose errors, determine proper solutions, and provide service and customer support during field visits and dispatches.

Required are a High School Diploma or GED, extensive diesel engine knowledge, field service experience, and the ability to troubleshoot. Own tools and a valid driver’s license are essential for on-site work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Proven field service experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment issues on-site or in shop to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform routine maintenance and pre-delivery inspections.
• Inspect, repair, recondition, and adjust heavy equipment and document work performed.
• Produce timely service reports and communicate findings to customers.
• Operate safely and follow company field procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the service team to support field tasks and trainings.
