Carter Machinery in Delaware is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service heavy equipment at customer sites. You will apply troubleshooting techniques, service machine components, and document all work with detailed service reports.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of engines and transmissions, the ability to work independently, and a valid CDL. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $5,000, competitive hourly wages starting at $30.45, overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of engines and transmissions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair machinery at customer sites.
• Apply troubleshooting techniques and determine proper repair procedures.
• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble components to factory specs.
• Prepare parts requisitions and complete service reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and document work clearly.
