Wagner Equipment Co. in Silverthorne, CO is seeking a Rental Equipment Field Service Technician for CAT Rentals. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment at customer sites, while maintaining records and communicating clearly with customers.

Responsibilities include service reporting, job documentation, and coaching junior technicians. This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits, plus travel up to 100% as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Relevant CAT related courses.
• 3+ years’ experience servicing heavy equipment.
• 1+ years administrative/clerical experience.
• 3+ years customer service experience.
• 3+ years sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains truck and crane inspection logs daily.
• Completes CAT service reports daily with proper grammar and SIMS code.
• Transmits photos, timecards, service reports via e-mail.
• Maintains good customer records on jobs assigned.
• Maintains credit card receipts for accounting purposes.
• Works with Service, Product Support, and Sales to meet customer needs.
• Communicates with customers on diagnosis and status of repairs.
• Teaches and coaches other technicians in the field.
• Promotes Wagner Equipment Co. to customers.
