Job summary

Fiore & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to service and repair construction machinery at job sites across Colorado.

You will diagnose issues on Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, and Kenworth equipment, travel independently to worksites, and perform maintenance with minimal supervision. This role requires a CDL Class B, your own basic tools, and strong communication to coordinate with crews.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment between sites.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, fuel and hydraulic schematics for repairs.
• Diagnose Tier 3/4 emissions systems and perform repairs.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and replacements on equipment.
• Remove/install major components and service trucks/vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair heavy equipment at locations.
• Read schematics to diagnose issues and implement fixes.
• Repair emissions systems (Tier 3/4) and perform maintenance tasks.
• Maintain service logs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and crews.
