Chadwick-BaRoss, Inc. seeks an experienced Service Diesel Technician for a shop-based role in a well-equipped facility. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty off-road equipment such as loaders, excavators, and backhoes.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience repairing heavy equipment or construction machinery.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics.
Own a basic personal tool set.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair heavy equipment systems (diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrains, fuel systems, electrical components).
Participate in annual technician evaluations for skill development and pay progression.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections and advanced diagnostics.
Remove, install and rebuild major components with minimal supervision.
Use OEM service manuals and schematics to complete accurate repairs.
Document repairs and maintenance with detailed service reports.
Maintain a clean, organized, safety-focused shop environment.
Safely operate and maneuver equipment within the facility.
Attend OEM/regional technical trainings as required.
