Chadwick-BaRoss, Inc. in Oxford, CT is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technician for a shop-based role.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heavy-duty equipment such as loaders, excavators, and backhoes, with an emphasis on diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrains, and electrical systems. The role offers long-term stability, ongoing training, and growth opportunities within a growing organization.

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on heavy equipment repair experience.
• Experience with OEM brands such as Takeuchi, Link-Belt, Bell, Volvo, Hyundai, CAT.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics.
• Own a personal tool set and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop environment.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment systems including diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrains, fuel systems, and electrical components.
• Participate in annual technician evaluations and opportunities for advancement.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and advanced diagnostics.
• Remove, install, and rebuild major components with minimal supervision.
• Document repairs and maintenance through detailed service reports.
