Ziegler Caterpillar is seeking a full-time, experienced Technician to service heavy diesel equipment including trucks, construction gear, power generation, and agricultural machinery. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, diagnostics, and delivering top-notch service for a growing customer base.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or high school diploma/GED and several years of comparable shop mechanic experience.
• 2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, track systems, electrical and fuel systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment including heavy construction and agricultural gear.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Follow standard operating procedures and document work orders.
• Prepare equipment for rental or sale and assist other technicians as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
