Ziegler CAT in Iowa is hiring a full-time, experienced Technician to service heavy diesel trucks, construction, power generation and agricultural equipment. You will diagnose, repair and maintain Caterpillar equipment and related systems with a focus on safety and quality service for a growing customer base.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or high school diploma/GED and several years of comparable shop mechanic experience.
• 2+ years of relevant diesel equipment repair experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment including heavy construction and agricultural gear.
• Respond to customer needs in a positive, timely manner to ensure value of work.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Follow standard operating procedures and assist other technicians as needed.
• Prepare equipment for rent or sale and document work orders daily.
