Qualifications

• Two years of formal diesel technology education or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of diesel equipment repair, preferably in the field.
• Basic computer skills to document work orders and use diagnostic systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment including heavy machines and attachments.
• Use judgment to repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and electrical systems.
• Work safely and follow company policies and standards.
• Respond to customer needs promptly to maximize value of work.
• Be available for after-hours emergency calls as directed.
• Collaborate with other technicians on troubleshooting and repairs.
• Document work orders completely and timely for quality service.
