Job summary

Riggs CAT is seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to perform high-quality repair service on heavy equipment, ensuring safe and timely responses to customer needs and maximizing value of work performed.

You will complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times, follow safety policies, and complete related paperwork in required systems. The role requires knowledge of engines, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems with the ability to operate with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One to three years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times and re-work metrics.
• Work safely following all safety policies and procedures.
• Complete related paperwork and access required databases accurately and timely.
• Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
• Remove/install parts, disassemble/assemble components, test and adjust with minimal supervision.
• Complete training in a timely and proficient manner.
