Riggs Cat is seeking a Rental Field Service Technician to provide high-quality repair service on equipment and respond to customer needs quickly and safely. You will remove/install parts, test assemblies, and troubleshoot systems using hand tools, air tools, and diagnostic software.

The role requires knowledge of engines, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work various shifts with overtime as needed. Safety policies are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of engines, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
• Must be able to provide information to management for quoting.
• Must have or obtain tooling to perform all duties; high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install parts, disassemble/assemble components, and test/adjust assemblies.
• Use hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools, and laptops.
• Understand manuals, schematics, parts books and installation instructions.
• Maintain knowledge of engine and compressor systems.
• Troubleshoot systems for errors.
