Job summary

Condux-International, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Heavy Assembler who will assemble, install and verify complex and heavy equipment according to blueprints, drawings and torque specs while adhering to safety and quality standards.

This role requires advanced mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely perform heavy assembly tasks. It also involves supporting production by ensuring products meet quality standards for fit, form, and function.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently and assist with team lifts for items exceeding 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and perform physical work for 8–10 hours per day, up to 5 days per week.
• Ability to use manual and hand-powered tools, including measuring tools.
• Ability to operate hand jacks, pallet trucks, cranes, jib cranes, and hoists.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install complex and heavy equipment in accordance with blueprints, drawings, torque specifications, and written instructions.
• Operate manual and hand-powered tools, lifting devices, and equipment required for heavy assembly tasks.
• Perform daily inspections to verify product fit, form, and function meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain equipment and complete required process, quality, and safety checks as required.
• Identify assembly issues and communicate feedback to the supervisor and/or engineering team for improvement or revision.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance and communicate planned and unplanned absences in accordance with company policy.
• Complete special projects and additional assignments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support safety standards and production efficiency.
