Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years in mechanical fitting, heavy assembly, or custom fabrication environment.
• Intermediate blueprint reading skills required.
• Experience assembling large equipment, weldments, or custom machinery preferred.
• Experience working with tight tolerances and precise alignment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large custom-built equipment and fabricated components per blueprints and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for fit, alignment, and sequence.
• Perform mechanical fitting and assembly with accurate layout and positioning.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and fit.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment to position components.
• Plan and organize work to meet production schedules while maintaining quality.
