• Valid Commercial Driver's License required.

Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Performs repairs on all types of equipment and work tools.
• Operates equipment to diagnose problems and inspects equipment for defects.
• Assists supervisors, co-workers with a variety of mechanic and related tasks as necessary.
• Writes thorough repair summaries and reviews summaries of more junior technicians.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Mechanical and fabrication knowledge usually obtained through a 2-year post-secondary degree or equivalent training and/or related experience.
• Three or more years of maintenance procedures and tooling experience, including mechanic work and light welding.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

• Knowledge of construction equipment maintenance, including welding, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, A/C systems, emissions, diesel, gasoline, and record keeping systems.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat with tanker endorsement.

Compensation ranges from $25.90 to $35.61 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
