Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A in Little Rock to repair diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, and brake/electrical systems. You will diagnose engines, fuel systems, aftertreatment, HVAC, and drive-line components on-site and on the road.

Required are 5–7 years of heavy-truck experience, with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work with scan tools; ASE certifications and a CDL B are pluses but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• 5-7 years of experience as a technician for heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in key heavy truck systems.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• LNG and/or CNG experience is a plus but not required.
• CDL B or higher is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair diesel and non-diesel vehicles on-site and on the road.
• Repair chassis components, refuse bodies, and braking/electrical systems.
• Diagnose engines, fuel, aftertreatment, and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose electrical concerns with scan tools and perform line maintenance.
• Complete company training programs and support ongoing safety standards.
