Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C in the United States, Arkansas, Little Rock. The role supports a single fleet of state-of-the-art vehicles, performing preventive maintenance and routine repairs to diesel and non-diesel equipment, under supervision.

You’ll help keep drivers on route and contribute to a safer, more reliable fleet. Responsibilities include inspecting mechanical and electrical systems, performing oil changes, light repairs, and basic electrical work.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of a vehicle’s mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments; oil changes and fluids replenishment; light repairs including tire changes; basic electrical work and visual inspections to identify issues.
• Completes applicable Company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
