XPO Logistics is hiring a Trailer Mechanic in Henderson, CO to perform routine maintenance on trailers, inspect and repair systems, and ensure compliance with DOT and EPA regulations. The role requires hands‑on mechanical skills, safety focus, and the ability to work flexible shifts across days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable experience in heavy‑duty maintenance or entry‑level technician role.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to perform safety inspections.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance on trailing equipment per schedules and regulations.
• Inspect and work on trailers, repair or rebuild systems as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized work area and document work in orders.
• Operate tools and drive/move trailers as required.

Connaissances

Heavy‑duty maintenance experience

Valid driver’s license

Safety inspections

Basic computer skills

Shift flexibility

Brake inspection (FMCSA 369.25)

Vehicle inspection (FMCSA 369.19)

Basic hand tools

Automotive/mechanical experience

Welding skills (Oxy/Acetylene, MIG,ARC

Formation

High school diploma or equivalent

Diesel tech school diploma

ASE certifications (preferred)

Military or related experience (preferred)
