Job summary

Continental, via BestDrive, is hiring a Tire Service Technician in Valdosta, GA. You will mount, dismount, balance and repair commercial tires, including off-the-road equipment, with duties spanning road service and on-site tire maintenance.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT medical clearance, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. A sign-on bonus is paid in installments after 30, 90, and 180 days, contingent on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Ability to work on a team and independently.
• Ability to communicate, verbally and written, clearly and professionally with co-workers and management.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

• Mount/Dismount/Install tires & tire/wheel assemblies.
• Load/Unload tires on and off trucks.
• Repair Tires.
• Follow procedures to inspect tires and wheels before and after service.
• Determine repairable tire conditions and perform repairs.
• Review work orders with supervisors.
• Document work performed accurately and per policy.
• Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools.
• Unbolt and re-bolt wheels.
• Mount/dismount off-road tires including multi-piece rims.
• Perform emergency road service on nights/weekends (rotating).
• Maintain service vehicle and equipment.
• Comply with OSHA safety requirements.
