FleetPride, Inc. in Lexington, KY, is hiring a Heavy Duty Service Writer to serve as the essential link between customers, technicians, and the shop team. You will discuss repairs, prepare estimates, and coordinate scheduling to keep repairs moving.

The role emphasizes clear communication and organizational skills, with day-shift hours Monday through Friday, weekly pay, and potential monthly bonuses. Relevant heavy-duty trucking or fleet service experience is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy-duty truck/trailer parts or service experience preferred.
• Service writing/advising experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• Parts or inventory experience is a plus.
• Team player willing to help around the shop when needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move parts weighing 60+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers regarding repairs, estimates, scheduling, and service updates
• Prepare and communicate repair estimates and recommendations
• Coordinate with technicians and shop management to keep repairs moving
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process
• Help organize daily shop operations and workflow
• Assist with parts and inventory as needed
• Maintain accurate work orders and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service from check-in through completion
• Help create a positive, team-oriented shop environment
