Job summary

FleetPride, the nation's largest distributor of heavy-duty parts, seeks an Outside Sales Representative to grow sales and gross profit in a defined territory. You will expand share within existing customers and acquire new ones by delivering FleetPride value and service excellence.

The role requires strong communication, mechanical inclination, and CRM proficiency, with a customer-focused sales culture and cross-functional teamwork to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of B2B sales experience; heavy-duty distribution experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical inclination and interest in FleetPride’s industry.
• Experience with CRM and sales force automation tools is a plus.
• MS Office with basic Excel database tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage accounts, identify opportunities, and update plans regularly.
• Prepare for calls, set objectives, and document results in the CRM.
• Assess customer needs and uncover expansion opportunities.
• Demonstrate FleetPride value and drive mutual benefits with customers.
• Collaborate with teams to access catalogs, branch expertise and resources.
• Apply product knowledge to guide customers to best FleetPride solutions.
• Monitor territory performance and gross margin targets.
