Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Per Diem Heavy Duty Housekeeper in Connecticut for a part-time, as-needed daytime role at The McAuley. You will perform heavy-duty cleaning, floor care, and apartment restoration projects, and assist with event setup while maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents.

The position offers a flexible PRN schedule and the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven community serving older adults with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy-duty cleaning throughout the community and resident apartments.
• Conduct deep-cleaning projects including carpet care, window cleaning, and appliance cleaning.
• Maintain hard-surface floors with stripping, waxing, buffing, and related duties.
• Set up and move furniture for events and activities.
• Respond to resident needs, safety hazards, and environmental services procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy-duty cleaning throughout the community and resident apartments.
• Complete seasonal and deep-cleaning projects, including carpet care, window cleaning, and appliance cleaning.
• Maintain hard-surface floors through stripping, waxing, buffing, and other floor care duties.
• Set up and move furniture for community events and activities.
• Remove trash and recyclables and help maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Respond to resident lockouts and assist with emergency needs as needed.
• Follow all safety, infection prevention, and environmental services procedures.
