Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Per Diem Heavy Duty Housekeeper in Connecticut for a part-time, as-needed daytime role at The McAuley. You will perform heavy-duty cleaning, floor care, and apartment restoration projects, and assist with event setup while maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents.

The position offers a flexible PRN schedule and the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven community serving older adults with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy-duty cleaning throughout the community and resident apartments.
• Conduct deep-cleaning projects including carpet care, window cleaning, and appliance cleaning.
• Maintain hard-surface floors with stripping, waxing, buffing, and related duties.
• Set up and move furniture for events and activities.
• Respond to resident needs, safety hazards, and environmental services procedures.

We're seeking a Per Diem (as needed) Heavy Duty Housekeeper to help maintain our beautiful community through cleaning, floor care, apartment restoration projects, and event setup support. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in their environment, and is looking for a flexible, as-needed schedule.

What You'll Do

• Perform heavy-duty cleaning throughout the community and resident apartments.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and standing throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping and floor-care equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior housekeeping, environmental services, custodial, or floor care experience preferred.
