Job summary

Atlas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a reliable Housekeeper / Laundry Aide on a per diem basis at our long-term care facility in Hamden, Connecticut. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, through daily housekeeping and resident laundry tasks.

You will work 7A-3P or 2P-10P shifts as needed, with weekends and holidays optional. There is an emphasis on infection control, attention to detail, and teamwork within a supportive staff environment, offering

• Housekeeping or laundry experience preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties including cleaning resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and offices.
• Ensure all areas meet established cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry and linens.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies and report shortages or maintenance concerns.
• Interact courteously and respectfully with residents, families, and staff.
