National Health Care Associates, Milford Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, healing environment for residents and guests at 195 Platt Street, Milford, Connecticut. This per-diem role offers training, competitive pay from USD 19.62/hour, and growth opportunities within a family-run organization.

You will perform daily cleaning, assist with supplies, and collaborate with staff to ensure safety and comfort in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols, infection control, fire prevention and safety measures in long-term care are highly valued but not required; training will be provided.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing common areas and resident rooms.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Dispose of trash and waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests from residents and staff.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffing machines, vacuums, etc.
