Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an Environmental Services professional to join the Johnson Memorial Medical Center team. This full-time, day-shift position involves routine cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary hospital environment and support patient care areas.

Responsibilities include handling cleaning supplies and equipment, performing housekeeping duties, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend basic written instructions in English.
• 3+ months of cleaning experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Must be able to safely move, lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. individually.
• Requires working with cleaning chemicals and products in a safe manner.
• Floorcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives cleaning assignments and transports supplies to work areas.
• Cleans areas with germicidal solutions and polishes fixtures.
• Removes soiled linens, makes beds, and restocks supplies.
• Operates mop, vacuum, and buffing equipment for floor care.
• Inspects area after cleaning to ensure cleanliness.
