FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a motivated entry-level Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician in Charlotte, NC.

You will learn preventative maintenance and safe shop practices on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment to build a clear career path in Fleet Maintenance. Work alongside experienced technicians to develop competencies in routine maintenance, document work in records and electronic systems, and complete required training while meeting safety standards.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license may be required depending on work assignment; Class A CDL preferred.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles with manual and automatic transmission.
• Ability to enter/exit driver's compartment and handle heavy components up to 110 lbs.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
• Ability to stand, bend and twist.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to work safely in a shop / LTL environment.
• Develop competency in preventative and routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Collaborate with technicians to perform maintenance and repairs; document work in records and electronic systems.
• Comply with applicable laws/regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
