Job summary

JRayl Transport, Inc. seeks a skilled technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and various system failures on heavy‑duty vehicles. You will discuss issues with drivers and use hydraulic jacks to access and replace assemblies such as brakes and axles.

Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools for ABS, tire systems, and SkyBitz locating tech is required; welding/minor fabrication skills are preferred. A High School diploma or better is expected, with DOT compliance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have ASE electrical certification and be skilled in air brake systems.
• Experience repairing Wabco, Meritor and Bendix ABS.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• High school diploma or better.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses failures and repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other vehicle systems.
• Discusses the nature of the difficulty with drivers.
• Uses hydraulic jacks/hoists to access underside and replace assemblies.
• Uses electronic diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting heavy‑duty ABS systems and related tech.
• Welding and minor fabrication skills are preferred.
